Nice! I was thinking of how I might quickly jump up to the beginning of a function and back. I came up with C-SPC, C-M-a, then followed with C-x C-x, C-g. So, I mark my current location, jump backwards to the start of the function, then I exchange the mark which jumps me back to where I was and use cancel to stop highlighting. Is there a better way to do this?

Thanks for this. Works well with org mode, although it only shows level 2 headings if deeper than that.

Very nice, I know there is something similar built into semantic where it displays in the header but I like this better!
